When you register on Hispanacho, we collect your name, email address, and, if you use Google sign-in, basic information from your Google profile. We also collect usage data such as pages visited and course progress.

We use your information to provide and improve the Service, personalize your learning experience, send you communications related to your account and the Service, and comply with our legal obligations.
3. Legal basis for processing
The processing of your data is based on the execution of the service contract to which you are bound when creating an account, your consent for optional communications, and our legitimate interest in improving the Service.
4. Storage and security
Your data is stored on secure servers. Passwords are stored with cryptographic hashing (bcrypt) and never in plain text. We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) to protect data transmission. Authentication tokens are stored in httpOnly cookies to prevent unauthorized access.
5. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share data with service providers who help us operate the platform (hosting, email), always under confidentiality agreements.

We use essential cookies for authentication functionality (httpOnly cookie with JWT token). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
